I love the idea of food trucks at weddings. Mister C is Irish and my family are lushes, so there will be an obscene amount of booze drunk at our wedding. This is why I
need want a food truck to help sober guests up with a midnight snack (or at least get them to standing position) so we can continue to boogie until sunrise.
When I found out that Urban Food Festival had come to Shoreditch, and that all their food trucks are for private hire, I put on my stretchiest pants and got ready to review a lot of potential wedding suppliers.
Every one of the food trucks I interviewed are willing to create personal menus for your wedding day and some can even cater for your entire wedding breakfast.
I realised that these food trucks are my solution for the warehouse wedding I dream of, as most (practically all) venues come without catering facilities. Also, as a chef, food is an extremely important aspect to my wedding day so I love that I can hand-select a variety of gourmet food suppliers who are willing to create signature Mr. and Mrs. C.O’N dishes.
With over 60 food trucks available to hire on the Urban Food Fest website there really is a flavour to suit everyone’s taste, including vegans, vegetarians and those with particular dietary requirements.
